fuzzy's tacos

Have you been to Fuzzy's Taco Shop?
If you live in the Dallas area, then you know that they are popping up EVERYWHERE.  I either hear that people love it or they hate it.

If you've been, do you love it or hate it?  If you love it, what did you get to eat that you love so much?

There is one coming very close to our house so I feel like we are going to have to finally cave in and try it out.  I just have a hard time getting over the name.  All I can think of are moldy {fuzzy} tacos.

And that doesn't sound good.

  1. I am with you on the name thing. I can't get over it either. Let us know when you try it out. Joel and I have never been. We can make a date out of it!

  3. My brother and sister-in-law took me to the one in McKinney. It was ok. I had the fajitas. I mean they were yummy but nothing like La Hacienda fajitas. (if you've never been there you must try it out off Preston near Frankford I believe)

  4. I started going to Fuzzy's in college (i.e. about 10 yrs ago at TCU) - let's just say the one by TCU is packed late at night / early in the morning. I love Fuzzy's but pretty much just for the breakfast tacos and the queso. Every other taco I've had has just been so/so. Is there one coming near Wylie? I hadn't heard.

  7. We got one here in Sherman a few months ago and I've heard great things but honestly we've haven't tried them out yet. I'll be interested to here what you think since you'll probably eat at yours before we eat at ours.

  10. We are OBSESSED with Fuzzy's! My sister works at TCU, and we eat there almost every time we are in Fort Worth. Garlic Shredded Beef Baja Style Soft Tacos... yum! Their salsa is warm and delicious. Try it out... you will be hooked. btw: They have a "beer only" line. Jason loves it!

  11. I loved it...you go for the tacos! I think I got crispy shrimp and fish...they were both good. I know when the location opened in Plano, they were giving away free food, so try and go on opening day!

And trust me, I'm picky about my baja tacos... I used to work at La Bodega in Aggieland!
