4:35 p.m.: Got checked into the hospital. Contractions picking up.
4:40: Changed into my cute hospital gown. Gave a urine sample.
4:55: Nurse checked me and I was 3-4 cm and 100% effaced.
5:15: Nursery Nurse came in to give info
5:30: Anesthesiologist came in for questions and consent
5:40: Gave me an IV contractions REALLY hurting.
5:50: Water broke
6:00: Drew my blood
6:02: Got my epidural.
6:34: Measured and was at 5 cm. Things got a little CRAZY. I don't even totally know what was going on, but Pearson's heartrate dropped and they had to do all these crazy things to calm him down but they got it under control and he is doing well.
7:00 Nurse shift change; got the night shift nurse
8:00 Loving the epidural but not loving how it's making my legs numb. Going to try to take a nap.
Stay tuned.....
Ahhh! Congratulations Katy! Baby Pearson will be here soon! Good luck -- prayers with you, Pearson, and your little family!
