If you've been reading my blog for the past year, you know that I have posted about Erin Condren deals and her Life Planners quite a few times. I have to be honest though. I'm not as impressed with my Life Planner as I had hoped to be.
While it is super cute with it's fun bright design.....
.....it has definitely had a few down sides.
1. It's too big. I don't like how I can't put it in my purse or diaper bag. It's just too bulky to carry around with me, so it always end up staying at home. What good is a planner that you can't carry with you.
2. I ran out of stickers. I loved how clean the stickers made my planner look so I was super disappointed when I ran out of stickers months ago.
3. The tabs are getting floppy and starting to tear with all the use my planner gets.
So instead of complaining about my Erin Planner all the way until the end of December, I have decided I'm moving on!! I've always been an "Academic Calendar" (Aug-Aug) kind of girl, so in August I'm retiring my Erin Condren planner.
So what are you moving on to??
I'm so glad you asked!!!
There are so many cute patterns and monograms to choose from. There were so many to choose from that I may or may not have order a few extra notebooks for gifts!!
You can also choose your inside pages. I went with the Academic Calendar, but you can also choose between monthly, weekly, meal planning, baby bump, baby dairy or just a plan ole blank notebook!!
So if you are in the market for a new planner or even just a new plain notebook, go check out these May Books!! You won't regret it!!
And because you know I love a good deal, use the code monolove to get a free monogram (a $5 value).
I seriously can't wait until August so I can start using my May Book!!
Well since I see you ordered a few gifts.. should I or shouldn't I order one??
ReplyDeleteThey have super cute books for meal planning too! I have several :)
ReplyDeleteI have to say I 100% agree with you on my Life Planner. It is WAY too big and I've found myself leaving it at home too! I'm glad to know it's not just me bc I really thought I just hadn't figured out how to use it efficiently! I'll def have to check these out! Thank you for posting about them!
ReplyDeleteFun! Love these. They were on Good Morning America a few weeks back and did a 50% off day... I went a little crazy and ordered 10 of them!
ReplyDeleteLove this!!! I wish I loved my LP more but I just can't get into it.
ReplyDeleteI have the EXACT same issues with my Erin Condren Planner. I'm sort of sad to give it up because it is SO incredibly cute, but it's just not very practical. It's way to big to carry around so I haven't been able to use it the way I want to. Thanks for the recommendation, I just ordered a May Book for this school year! yay! I'm considering ordering a meal planning one too, but I'll wait until I get this one in the mail to make sure I love it first haha.

ReplyDeleteThis review is on their Groupon offer today. Way to go!

Thanks for writing this! I saw the groupon deal for your new planner & wondered if they were cute! I, too, got an Erin Condren one - for 2011 - before every blogger i knew was getting one! I was disappointed, too. They're too big, the notepads i bought as an add-on came off easily (supposed to stick to the last page), the spirals messed up a little, etc. I just think if they're going to be $50, they should have better binding than lamination & spiral! I got me a MUCH BETTER one from Barnes & Noble for $15! But this new one you got is perfect b/c the B&N one doesn't have personalization, which i love! :)
ReplyDeleteTHANKS!
