Our 4th of July was a pretty nice relaxing day, except for the fact that Pearson decided to wake up at 6:30, which is about an hour earlier than normal. We spent the first part of the morning playing with little man, then while he napped I cut Matt's hair and caught up on 3 weeks of Project Life.then we all went to pick up my free Walgreen's prints!! We came home and ate a small lunch at home in preparation for our big dinner at Matt's sister's house!! Pearson was able to squeeze in one more nice nap before his big evening of playing with cousins!
This is Pearson's new favorite place to hang out in our house.
We went over to The LeBlanc's house at 4:30. Pearson always loves playing with all of Ethan's toys. Especially his puzzles!! This kid loves puzzles!!
It was perfect weather for a little pool time!!
Pearson was way more interested in the water fall than anything else in the pool.
We always love swimming at their pool because their backyard is like a little mini paradise. It's nice and shaded so it doesn't get to hot!!
For dinner, Bryan made the best barbecue. He is such a good cook! We had sausage, brisket, pulled pork and ribs and all the yummy sides to go with it. It was so good. Pearson enjoyed it all too. Can you tell?
For dessert we enjoyed a yummy fruit pizza made by Grammy!!
And before we left, Pearson made a little "boy cave" out of the toy cabinet. No need to pull the toys out when you can just go in and play with them! He literally stayed and played in there for a good 10 minutes. It was so funny.
Sadly, since Pearson goes to bed so early we weren't able to see any fireworks outside. We ended up watching the firework show in Boston on TV after we put Pearson to bed and it was phenomenal. One of the best firework shows I've ever seen. And it was so nice to sit in the AC and not get bug bites! I was so impressed with the show that I looked online to see how much they spent and it is approximately a $2.5million firework show. No wonder it was so amazing!!
Hope you all had a fun 4th!!
That picture of him in the toy cabinet cracks me up! Bummed I missed out on most of the fun!
