boo on ballard

Tonight our small town {that is not so small town anymore} had it's annual Halloween Festival, Boo on Ballard.  Matt had to work late again so Pearson and I headed up there with my parents.
 We met up with my brother and sister in law and the cutest little Raggedy Ann & Andy.
 Twenty-seven years ago Ryan (my big brother) wore this costume.
And I wore this costume.  My Mom made every last stitch of them.  They are completely homemade.
See? Weren't we cute??
We stopped at the Community Center for the Costume Contest to enter our little cuties.
Not only were Carson and Olivia's costumes re-used, but Pearson's was too.  Carson wore this costume  3 years ago when he was the same age.
 When Pearson walked up onto the stage he turned into a different kid.  He sat completely still.  I was in shock!!
 My little golfer got 1st Place and Olivia got 2nd place.  The crazy thing is that Carson got 1st place 3 years ago when he wore this too!!
 Every winner deserves a sucker!!
And the coolest part about them winning is that I think they will get their picture in the paper for winning!!

trunk or treat

Tonight was our church's fall festival.  This year it was a Trunk or Treat!! Our ABF's theme was a box of Crayons.  The Hares did an awesome job decorate Jenny's car.
Pearson felt left out because he wasn't a crayon.
{Okay, not really, he just REALLY didn't like wearing his hat.}
But wasn't he the cutest little golfer ever.....even with a little pouty face??
{And I just notice in this picture, that it looks like he has chameleon eyes like me.  When we wear blue, they look blue.  When we wear green they look green!!}

With a busy little toddler, I didn't get a chance to get picture of everyone that was there.  I did manage to get a few though.

 {The Zellners}
 {Amy}
{The Howards}
{Me and my little golfer}
{All the Mommas and our babies}
Mmmmmm.....I could just eat these little boys up!!

Matt had to work late so he got there after we did.  By this point in the evening, the only way we could get Pearson to keep his hat on and look at the camera was to give him a sucker.

After we took some pictures and ate some dinner at the food court, we didn't have much time to do anything.  We did make sure we hit up the petting zoo though.
Pearson is not afraid of animal at all.  He walked up to each of these little bunnies on the left and gently pet each one. It was so cute.
He pet this little chicken, but he wasn't too sure about it.
This little pig was the cutest thing ever.  Look how sweet Pearson was with it.
And that's all we had time for at our Trunk or Treat since our little golfer was up way past his bedtime.

my craigslist find

I've been on the hunt for a entry hall table {with storage} for about a month now.  I feel like we are starting to bust at the seams in our little house so our pretty glass table {without storage} wasn't cutting it anymore.

{This picture from Pearson's birthday party was the only picture of the glass table I could find.}
Yesterday was my lucky day because I found a buffet table for $50 on Craigslist!!  My Dad and I went and checked it out this afternoon and it was exactly what I wanted!! Score!!
I'm loving the new look my Craigslist find gave our entry hall!! I put all of our old decorations back on the table so it wouldn't be empty, but I plan on redecorating this table.  All my old decorations will be going back on the glass table that I is now moved behind our couch.  I can't wait to find some new decor for the new table.  Other than Pearson's nursery it's been a long time since I've done any decorating.

Kirkland's, HomeGood's and Hobby Lobby......here I come!!!

owen's big orange pumpkin farm

This morning Pearson and I met up with our MOPS group at Owen's Big Orange Pumpkin Farm.
It was a little warm and super crazy busy, but we still had a good time hanging out with our friends.  Before our friends got there I took the opportunity to take some more pictures of Pearson with some pumpkins!! I just don't think you can get enough pumpkin pictures!!
Pearson can not keep his tongue in his mouth these days.  He is getting two new bottom teeth in and I guess he just loves to feel them with his tongue.  He is a little drool monster.
Can you see how happy he is that I just let him run around? He was in heaven with the freedom!!

And even though my little pumpkin never really smiled for any of his pumpkin pictures, he' not for sale like the sign says!!
After all of our friends from our table group arrived we went to feed the goats.
These goats were crazy.   Two of the goats fought almost the entire time we were there and one of them had blood all over it's head from the other one bucking his horns at him.  Definitely not a petting zoo!!
After feeding the animals, we went on a quick hayride.
MOPS has been such a blessing to me already this year.  It's so wonderful to be able to get together each week with other SAHM's.  We just all get each other and can relate to each other since our lives are similar.  Not only have we (the Moms) meshed so well together, but our sweet kiddos love each other too.
They are all starting to recognize each other and play with each other so well.  When Naomi sees me now she just says, "Pearson?".  She doesn't really care to see me, she just wants to see Pearson.
And after our fun morning at Owen's Big Orange Pumpkin Farm we all met up at the mall for some Chick-fil-A and some playing in the play area!!
