fall tv line-up

Not much to blog about today.  My car is in the shop and I've been sick with a stomach bug.  So let's talk bout TV today.  I know it looks like we watch a ton of TV, but we DVR it and watch it after Pearson is in bed.  Matt doesn't watch all of these shows though, so some I watch throughout the day or when he's not around.

Monday:

I haven't watched this show in a few years, but I like alot of the All-Stars that have come back this year so I added it to our DVR.  Plus, Matt plays Softball on Monday nights so it's nice to have some mindless TV to watch while he's gone!!

This is a new show this fall and we are loving it!! Matt added it to our DVR and I'm so glad that he did.  It's kind of a mash up of Jericho and Flash Forward (two shows we loved but got cancelled). Hopefully this one lasts because it's great so far. 

Tuesday:

I love this show!  It's so much better than Grey's Anatomy. 

This is my all time favorite show right now.  If you are a parent and you aren't watching Parenthood, you should be!!  I just love how it's a TV Show that actually shares what real families are going through.  Every week I laugh and cry.  It's such a great show!

Wednesday:

Matt got me hooked on Survivor.  He used to watch it back in the day before me.  We have watched the last 4 or 5 seasons together and love it!!

Definitely the funniest show on television!!

I'm going to give Nashville a change this year.  I love Connie Britton (aka Tammy Taylor from Friday Night Lights) so that's really the only reason I'm watching it!!

Thursday:

This show is definitely not the same without Michael Scott.  I'll be glad when it's over, but I feel like I have to finish watching it since we started it from the beginning. 

I am SO over this show, but again like The Office,  I feel like I have to keep watching it because I started it from the beginning.  Surely they'll end this show soon.  Surely.  It's getting really old. 

Sunday: 

We love having a TV show to watch on Sunday nights together!! 

Everyday: 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE The Ellen Show.  It seriously cracks me up everyday.  I just love the format of the show, I love the guests she has, I love her silly segments, I love the things she does for people and I love that I can watch it while I do other things.  It's just a nice afternoon show!!

On my Netflix:

I've heard so many good things about this show.  I'm trying to catch up on Netflix so I can watch it this season.  I haven't watched any episodes yet, so I'm not even sure if I'll like it or not. 

Other Shows:

I loved the show, so I really hope it makes it for a second season. 

 OMG, this show is so good. I think the final season doesn't start until next summer, but I can't wait.  I hate that I love this show because its so bad.  But it's so good!!

Every year I say I'm going to grow up and be done with this stupid show, but somehow I keep watching.  I have to watch this season because I loved Sean. I think this one starts up in January.

I always love this show.  So inspiring!! I think this one starts up in January too. 

And I know this won't be on until next summer, but we love

Okay, not that I have any extra time to watch any more TV, but are there any really great shows out there that I am missing out on? I'd love to hear what's on your DVR?

playin' & dancin'

Pearson loves to explore during the day.  I can't usually get him to sit and play with his toys during the day because he would rather crawl all over the place and open every cabinet and pull out everything out of drawers.  When Matt is home at night, after dinnertime and bathtime he always plays perfectly with his toys......of course, right??  Matt thinks I have it easy during the day, but I assure him that he never sits still during the day.  

Today after his nap he was playing so well with his toys so I snapped a few pictures of him in his element!!

He always sits with his feet crossed.  So funny!

He loves playing with the remotes.  What boy doesn't??

I have no idea what he is doing here, but it makes me laugh. 

I even caught him doing a little dancing while we were watching Ellen. 

Of course as soon as I got my camera out he wasn't dancing as much.  I got a few moves on camera though.

Fall TV starts this week!! I'm so excited!!

**I promise I don't watch TV every night.  I usually end up watching a ton these shows while Matt watches college football on Saturday and NFL football on Sunday.

It's Labor Day and I'm not doing a dang thing.

And if I'm real honest.  I've been watching 24 on Netflix Instant Streaming for the last 4 days with my husband a little too much.  

It all started when Matt would watch 24 while I was on my computer or doing coupon stuff.  Somehow I got really interested in Season 2.  It drove him crazy when I would ask him questions or try to watch it when I was really watching it.  I don't normally like shows or movies like 24, so I'm surprised I got so interested.  When Matt started Season 3, I decided to sit down and follow the show.  

Oh my word....Most. Addicting. Show. Ever.  

Tomorrow though, I will blog.

..... did Day 9 of The 30 Day Shred.

......folded 4 loads of laundry.

......emptied and refilled the dishwasher.

.....made this delicious Taco Salad for dinner.

.....went on a walk with my hubby.

......sorted my Sunday paper coupons.

I know it is probably the trashiest show on television, but The Bachelor/The Bachelorette/Bachelor Pad is  my weekly guilty pleasure.  

And.....I'm not ashamed to say I'm watching.  

Okay, maybe I'm a little ashamed.

I am so glad that Michael won Biggest Loser last night!! 

He dropped over 50% of his body fat. 

He totally deserved it!!

I'm looking forward to watching "Losing It with Jillian Michaels".

I had all intentions of posting some of the full projects tonight that I showed you peeks of the other day.

I'm not going to lie though....

The Bachelor and I don't feel like getting up to take picture.

Ugh....don't ask me why I'm watching the finale. I don't even like this season, and I know who he picks already. I guess I'm watching it so I can talk about it with the girls I work with tomorrow!!!

The cast of ER.

Let me be more specific, the cast of ER Season 3 which is very different from the cast of ER Season 15.

I was looking for a picture of the cast of ER and I found this one...

......and I didn't recognize one single person.

For the last couple months we have been getting ER on Netflix. We love it!! But obviously we have a looooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnng way to go if we haven't even met the characters that finish the show.

3 seasons down....only 12 more to go!!!

I can't wait! I stinkin' love this show. It really is the best reality show out there. (Much better than last night's quality TV!!)And I'm so excited that it's couples again. I like the couples shows better than individuals.

tv starts this week!!

I'm so excited for TV to start back up again. I have a small addiction to quite a few shows.

This has been a recent development for since I rarely watched TV in college. The only show I ever watched in college was Grey's Anatomy. Since I graduated in 2007, my TV show list has grown tremendously. The only reason I have even have time to watch TV is because of our DVR. I love it!! I can tape shows all week and watch them whenever I have time. When I'm bored on the weekends. I usually have a show to watch!!
