i love you BERRY much + {a free printable}

With Baby Nash's arrival anyway now I knew I needed to be on top of things with Pearson's Valentine's just in case he comes before our scheduled c-section on February 17th.  I saw these cute Valentine's on one of my fellow Dallas Moms Blog writer's personal blog, and knew they would be a perfect Valentine for Pearson's preschool friends.   I loved them, but I didn't have some of the supplies to make them, so I changed things up a bit and made them my own with supplies I already had at home.

I just love how these are a healthy alternative to the traditional candy valentine.  Pearson LOVES GoGo Squeeze pouches so I hope his little friend love them too!!

let's face it....teachers want gift cards

There are an abundance of adorable homemade teacher gift on Pinterest, lots of token things you can give your teachers for Christmas, but as a former teacher, I know what teachers really want........gift cards.  It's sounds a little selfish, but it's true!!  You can only have so much decor for your classroom, chocolates, mugs or candles.  I gave Pearson's teacher's what I know I would have loved as a teacher.  I tried to be a little creative and give them their giftcards in a cute way though.  Here's what I found on Pinterest.  

For his spanish teachers, music teachers and the director of the school, we gave them a $5 Starbucks giftcard.  I have seen this printable on Pinterest a million times but the original one from eighteen25, was green and teal and not very Christmas-y. I decided to put it into photoshop and chang all the teal to red to make it a little more festive for Christmas.

For his two classroom teachers,  I got them some foot scrub from Bath & Body Works and a gift certificate to get a pedicure.  I found this cute little printable here.  

I think all of his teachers loved their gifts and I loved how easy it was getting them all together!!

wild about you + {a free printable}

**I had all intentions of getting this post up last night, but I got a ticket yesterday afternoon so I had absolutely no motivation to do anything......except watch The Bachelor.  Ha!

You know you have a true toddler when they love a food one day and then hate it the next!  A little while back, I bought a huge tub of animal crackers at Sam's because he loves eating them at Mother's Day Out.  Of course, after I bought the huge tub of animal crackers he decided he didn't like them!! Of Course. When I saw this cute valentine on Pinterest, I knew it would be perfect for all of little friends at Mother's Day Out and MOPS, and a perfect way for me to get rid of my giant tub of animal crackers that my son won't eat!!

I just needed to spruce up the label a little bit.  I saw some other cute ones on Pinterest that had zebra print and leopard print in the background, but they seems a little girl.  I decided to just go with the zoo animal theme and I think they turned pretty darn cute!!

So if you have an abundance of animal crackers like I did and need a cute little valentine for your little one, here is the printable for you!!

**These are spaced a little funky (with a space on top of each of them) so you can cut the big space above the picture,  fold them over a baggie and staple them. Or of course you can cut them all the way out like I did and back with colored paper.  Either way, I think they'll be pretty cute!!

santa "CHEX" his list twice

For Pearson's gifts to his little friends I knew I wanted to do something that they could all eat.  There are so many cute ideas on Pinterest that are sweet treats but I didn't want to do anything like that this year since he is still so young and doesn't really eat that many sweets.  I found this cute idea for a tag for Chex Mix so I decided to make my own version of "Toddler Approved Chex Mix"

I put Rice & Corn Chex, Goldfish, Raisins, Pretzels, Cheerios and Captain Crunch in the Chex Mix. No seasoning and no nuts! 

I printed off these little bag tags, stapled them on and was done with Pearson's little gifts to his friends.

reindeer noses

My SIL pinned the cutest little idea for my nephew, Carson to take to his friends at school.  I helped her make a little tag for the gift and I think they turned out super cute!!

All you need are Whoppers and Cherry Sours.  

(8 Whoppers for the eight reindeer and 1 Cherry Sour for Rudolph)

She glued the tag on red paper then stapled it onto the bag.  

Voila, you're done!!  

A simple, cute, little gift for friends at school.

M&M Christmas Story

I saw this on Pinterest a while back and I just thought it was so cool!!

 I think this poem is so neat!! I definitely can't take credit for it.  When I found it on Pinterest the link that was connected to it was apparently spam so I just re-typed it.  I had all intentions of digi-scrapping a cute little tag but I ran out of time.  

 I made these little M&M bags for all of Pearson Sunday School teachers and my MOPS friends.

This was such it was a simple (and inexpensive) way to tell our special friends Merry Christmas!

personalized hand sanitizer

It's time for my first "Pinned There, Done That" post!!

I found this tutorial on Pinterest on how to make these cute personalized hand sanitizers, and I knew that it would be the perfect little gift for Pearson's Mother's Day Out teachers.  Cute, simple, & cheap!! 

They were simple, simple, simple to make.  All you need is hand sanitizer, scissors, transparency paper, and ribbon.

First you'll need to peel off the labels.  I used good gone to get all the remaining sticky off. 

I designed the words in photoshop then printed them on regular paper.  I took the printed page up to the Office Supply Store and made a copy on transparency paper.  It was a whopping 45 cents!! I have an ink jet printer and if I printed on the transparency from home it would smear.

After you trim around the edges roll it up and stick it inside the hand sanitizer. 

Use the hand pump to move around the transparency until you get it flat against the front. 

And Voila!!

I just added some cute little ribbon and ric-rac to make it look festive for the first day of school!!
