trick or treat

Pearson isn't really old enough to understand Trick or Treating, but since my parents and grandma and some of their good friends live on the same street we decided to go over to their street.   We rang my parents doorbell.....
.......he took one piece of candy......
......and ran.  Maybe he does get it!!
While we were at my parent's house Carson and Olivia showed up!!
Lolly & Pops with their cute little grandbabies!!
Carson showing off his muscles.  I asked him where he got his muscles and he said, "at my house".
We wanted to get a picture of the kiddos so we gave the babies a sucker.  I opened Pearson's up, but Ashley didn't open Olivia's up.
Olivia realized that Pearson's was open and went after it.
Pearson just looked at her like she was crazy.
And then pushed her away!!  This picture is just hilarious!!
Sweet Cousins
 The St. John's
 My sweet family!!
After "trick or treating" we came back home to pass out candy to our Trick or Treaters!!

happy halloween!

Since Pearson dressed up like a golfer this year and we live in a golf course community, I thought it was only fitting for us to run up to the Club House and take some pictures of our little golfer.  It was so funny to hear all the grown men up in the Club House "oohing and aahing" over how cute he looked.
We took brought some golf clubs and golf balls from my parents house and took most of the pictures on the practice putting green.  It was perfect because the flags were just his size!!  We also took some pictures in the golf carts, or to Pearson the "go-go's".  He was in heaven!!

Enjoy our pictures from our golfing adventure this morning!!
Happy Halloween!!
Have fun tonight and be safe!!

iPhone rewind {october}

Here's all the random iPhone photos I took this month........

Pearson found one of his old pacis from when he was a baby and was walking around the house with it in his mouth like this.
 He loves him some yogurt!!
Walking around the house in Mommy's shoe or as he says "shu".
He discovered that he can climb up to the top at Chick-fil-A.
Pearson played with this empty Sonic cup and straw for a good 10 minutes.  He was so intrigued with the sound it made going in and out.
This is why I love the Barber Shop I go to.  He has toys to play with while we wait!!
 3rd Haircut
Pearson actually sat still in my lap for Story Time.
Mmmmm breakfast......our favorite meal of the day!!
Just chilling in his toy box.
 Lunch with my little man.
My Mom made these super cute shirts for Pearson and Carson for Halloween.
Anxious to get in the bath!
Pearson loves to watch the trash truck on Friday mornings.
Pearson's new way of walking around the house with me.  He grabs on to both of my legs and walk in between them. Silly boy.
Picking up some meds at CVS.
I love it when it's quiet in his room and I come in to find this......
Trying to look like a golfer like Daddy with one of his hats!!

pumpkin carving party 2.0

My friend Brittany hosted her 2nd annual pumpkin carving party this afternoon.
Last year Pearson was a little tiny baby so he was easier to bring along.  This year it took quite a bit more entertaining........and snacks!!  Brittany had this awesome teddy bear that Pearson hung out with while he ate his snack.
He also showed Case how have the most fun with his Jumperoo.
And he also rocked Miss Emily and gently patted her head. It was the sweetest thing.......until he poked her in the eye. Ooops.
Because I had to chase around my busy toddler who insisted on showing Brittany every inch of her house that was not baby proofed, I didn't really have time to actually carve a pumpkin.  I just opted for embellishing my pumpkin this year, but I think it turned out pretty darn cute.
Jamie embellished her pumpkin too with paint and some swirly jeweled stickers.
Brittany decorated her pumpkin with a glow in the dark spider web!
So now that I think about it, it was more of a pumpkin decorating party than a pumpkin carving party!!   We had a great time none the less. It was great to see some of my high school friends. It's hard to believe that it's almost been 10 years since we graduated.  Crazy!!
