Pearson's Birthday: Update #1

12:00 a.m.: Woke up by my first contraction.  Had contractions for about 2 hours every 15-20 minutes.  Woke up each time, but easily fell back asleep.

2:15 a.m.: Sat up in bed and got my contraction timer pulled up on my iPhone.  Stayed awake for about an hour with contractions 6-8 minutes apart.

3:30 a.m.: Got out of bed, frantically put the pictures into my letter to Pearson so I could post it before I actually had him!!

4:30 a.m.: Called my Mom because my contractions were all over the place.  They were anywhere from 5-12 minutes apart.

5:00 a.m.: Went back to bed and rested/slept in between contractions as best as I could.

7:30 a.m.: Woke up and ate breakfast with Matt

8:30a.m.: Showered and got ready for the day.

9:00 a.m.: Called the doctor to give her a heads up that I was in labor.  She said to call back when they are 5 minutes apart.

9:30 a.m.: Finished packing the bags and loaded up the car.

10:30 a.m.: Took Izzie to my parents house.  Contractions still coming and really starting to hurt in my back, but they are now 15 minutes apart.

11:00 a.m.: Ran a few errands with Matt and ate some Chick-fil-A for lunch.

12:00 p.m.: Hanging out at home.  Contractions back to 6-8 minutes apart. I'm blogging and Matt is watching a movie.  Still hurting in my back.
